Our Story
Founded in 2013, Solarex is a specialist engineering, procurement, and project management contractor (EPCM) operating within the solar and energy storage industry. The company serves the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) property sector by delivering tailored solar and energy storage solutions ranging from 100 kW to 1 MW in size.
Our experienced team has successfully delivered advanced solar installations across a wide variety of commercial and industrial environments, consistently meeting the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Through innovative engineering and proven methodologies, we create energy solutions designed for long-term efficiency and durability.
With approximately 20MW of active solar and battery storage projects across Africa, and a further 150MW currently under development, Solarex has evolved into a vertically integrated energy company offering specialized project development, EPC, and O&M services. Our mission is to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy while contributing to the reduction of energy poverty across Africa.
